A young woman’s future can change when she enters a new room and realizes she belongs there.
The Leadership Academy connects girls with mentors, leadership experiences, college and career exposure, and conversations that help them better understand their strengths. Participants are encouraged to speak up, ask questions, explore unfamiliar paths and begin making informed decisions about their futures.
College exposure, including connections to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, gives participants a closer look at the communities, traditions and opportunities waiting beyond high school.
This is where a distant possibility begins to feel real.
